New for 2022, SIG Sauer ROMEO2 Reflex Red Dot Sight delivers next-level versatility in a compact package. It ship with two interchangeable steel shrouds: a half shroud and a full shroud. The half shroud provides good protection against drops and minor impacts and the full shroud completely seals in the optic with a polycarbonate rear window for superior protection against dirt, water, dust, and other debris. Alternatively, the user can use the ROMEO2 without the shroud to save a little weight and use the optic as a standard open red dot.
The ROMEO2 also features Sig’s exclusive MOTAC and MAGNETAC activation systems. MOTAC (Motion Activated Illumination System) powers up the optic when motion is detected, and MAGNETAC (Magnetic Activation) powers up the optic when the host weapon is drawn from a compatible holster, and shuts the optic off when holstered.
